St Colman's Primary and All Saints' Nursery, Annaclone

Eco Council

Here at St. Colman's we have been working very hard over the years to make our school as eco-friendly as we possibly can! This year we have been focusing on Waste as our main topic with Energy, Litter and Outdoor Learning also being a focus for the students and staff.

We have a very committed Eco-council; this gives our children the chance to discuss ways to make our school kinder to our planet.

We have an Eco Club where we plants trees and plants, tidy up the school grounds and generally have outdoor fun.

We have been rewarded for all our Eco hard work by being awarded the Green Flag Award.

We are so proud of the commitment, enthusiasm and passion which our Eco Council and entire school community have shown and continue to show to ensure our school is as Eco friendly as can be!
