World Down Syndrome Day
World Down Syndrome Day was on Sat 21st March, a day dedicated to promoting awareness, understanding and inclusion for individuals with Down syndrome.
The theme of World Down Syndrome Day highlights the importance of celebrating diversity, recognising the unique strengths of every individual and encouraging communities to be more inclusive and supportive. By learning about and acknowledging Down syndrome, we help create a world where everyone is valued and included.
This year we will celebrated on Friday 20th March, to mark the day in a fun and meaningful way, we invited all children and staff to come to school wearing odd socks. This simple activity symbolises that while we are all different, every one of us belongs and deserves kindness and acceptance. 🧦
