Our new class topic is holidays and last week we looked at hotel breaks away. We participated in outdoor learning to find useful and non-essential items to pack our suitcases for a two night stay in Dublin. We then shared and giggled at the story of ‘Three Little Monkeys and the Grand Hotel’ and decided to help Quentin Blake by writing new parts of our own. We had to decide where their owner Hilda Snibbs was going, where she was leaving her adored pets and what new mischievous things they got up to.
