As part of our Numeracy lesson, Primary 5 explored perimeter through a practical maths activity using classroom objects and masking tape shapes. The children measured and compared the perimeter of different items around the classroom before investigating shapes marked out on their desks. They discussed strategies for calculating perimeter and applied their understanding in a hands-on context.
