We have been taking part in fun, engaging phonics lessons to help us learn our first 6 sounds. We have enjoyed listening to the jolly phonics stories and songs to help us learn the sounds and are trying very hard with our handwriting to form these letters correctly. Now that we know 6 sounds we can begin to blend and segment words which will help us with our reading. Our new reading books have words in them and we can use our HFWs to help us read them. We are growing in confidence every day.
