P4 were learning why it’s important for everyone to use the same kind of measurement. They worked in groups and each group was given a different sized rectangle. Even though they were all trying to cover the same surface and find the area, their answers were different. This helped them understand why we need standard units so everyone measures things the same way and we discussed real life scenarios where this is important.
