P4 & P5 had a fantastic day exploring the FE McWilliam Gallery. They loved discovering the sculptures in the garden, learning how each piece connected to FE McWilliam’s life and work. Inside the studio, the pupils were captivated by the many sculptures and how abstract some of them were. They made great suggestions for names for many of them and took time to sketch one of their favourites. The highlight was definitely the hands on workshop where everyone created their own clay head sculpture, putting their creativity into action. A brilliant day, enjoyed by all and we look forward to getting our clay pieces after Easter when they have hardened.
