What a fantastic day we had on our end of year school trip. Such excitement travelling on the ferry from Strangford to Portaferry! We had a beautiful day for it so, much to the pupils delight, we ventured onto the top deck. At Exploris we found out some new facts about the starfish and sea urchin, and we even got to touch and hold them as you can see in our video. We were amazed at the many different species of fish and, most definitely, a firm favourite was the huge stingray which swam around and above us in the tunnel. We watched the sea lions get their food and the penguins before having our picnic lunch and then unfortunately time ran out so we headed back for another boat trip. A great day was had by all!
