P1 and P2 had a fun-filled day out at W5 on Monday. The pupils enjoyed exploring the different floors filled with hand’s-on multi- sensory exhibits. We had great fun discovering, role playing, building and investigating. Both classes had the opportunity to become ‘Dino detectives’, tasked with solving the mystery of who stole the dinosaur egg.
The children examined a range of fossils, measured dinosaur footprints, and investigated different teeth to determine whether they belonged to carnivores or herbivores. Once the mystery was successfully solved, we joined together for a bite to eat before heading off to explore again. We could have spent the whole day exploring, there was definitely more left to see.
The children behaved impeccably, as always, and are such a credit to you and to our school.
