Our class have been busy exploring the wonderful world of animals and nature in Autumn. they’ve learned all about life on the farm, how vets care for animals and even tried our hand at creative art using vegetables- carrots, parsnips and potatoes as our brushes, pencils and stampers. We took part in ‘Down on the Farm’ yoga with lots of movement and stretches.
A highlight of this week was joint Fair Hill for an exciting virtual animal visit, where children found out fascinating facts about ferrets, rabbits, hedgehogs, owls and foxes. Back in the real classroom we planted our very own herb garden- parsley, basil and coriander, our job now is to feed them and watch them grow, they smell delicious!
