Numbers to 15 in Primary 1.
14th May 2026
We’ve been busy practicing our numbers up to 15! While we’re getting great at counting forward and back on our number lines, those tricky teen numbers (11-15) still need a bit of practice.
The children have loved building sets of objects and writing the matching numbers. We also had a blast playing "Number Bingo"—the classroom was full of excitement as we hunted for numbers that come "before," "after," or "between" to get a full house! How to help at home:
Keep an eye out for the numbers 10–15 while you're out and about. You can also practice making small groups of items together and comparing them—ask things like, "Which group has more?" or "How many more do we need to make 15?"
