To consolidate our learning on our numeracy topic 3D Shape, Miss Taylor decided to take P2 on a trip to the 3D shape museum. Our classroom was no longer a classroom… and instead had transformed into a museum! Boys and girls received a ticket to the museum by submitting their 3D shape hunt homework online, and they were welcome to step inside the museum. Pupils were reminded of the key rules of museums, no running, no talking loudly and most importantly, no touching! Pupils had to observe the different 3D shapes on offer and draw their favourite one. To conclude our learning, we discussed features of 3D shapes which pupils were able to recall from previous learning. It is safe to say pupils had a blast, during our active numeracy lesson!
