Primary one had a busy day celebrating Halloween dress up and the end of our first half term. We started the day with our dress up parade, showcasing our wonderful outfits. All the children stood in front of a packed hall and introduced themselves and what they had dressed up as.
After break, we joined our friends in nursery for a mini disco and a game of musical chairs. It was lovely to catch up with our brothers, sisters, cousins and friends in nursery.
During lunch the cooker was turned on to stew some apples, kindly given to us by Mr. Mc Ardle. We had mixed reviews on the stewed apple, with some children tasting it and others coming back for seconds. Before home we got a little Halloween tattoo for the disco tonight.
We all had a busy fun filled day. I hope you all have a lovely break and enjoy the rest after a busy start to our year.
