Congratulations to our Girls and Boys football teams who had a very successful day in Kilcoo in the 1st round of the Cumann na mbunscol qualifiers.
Both teams topped their group with wins over St.Columban's, Dundrum and Bunscoil. Our boys and girls played fantastic football throughout. The final match for both teams was very tight, but they fought hard and showed great skill and determination, the girls securing a win over St.Mary's, Barr and the boys over Carnacaville. Thanks to the parents for helping with transport and cheering the teams on. Thanks also to the underage coaches Mr Farrell, Mr & Mrs Higgins and Mrs Braniff for managing the teams on the day. We now progress to the Semi final stage, the provisional date is Friday 26th May (Venue - TBC).
