Easter Fayre

We had an incredible turnout for our Easter Fayre 🐣! The sun was shining, and everyone was in a great mood, creating a wonderful atmosphere of excitement and buzz around the school all day. We are deeply grateful for your generosity and support—whether you donated prizes, baked delicious buns/cakes, helped our P6/7 children set up their stalls or bought tickets, your contributions made a huge difference. What a fabulous day with lots of memories made for our children.

This year we introduced a new initiative to support our children with additional needs - we had a 'quiet' time in the morning so children could enjoy a quieter start to the Easter Fayre.

A special thank you to Mrs. Loy for being the driving and motivating force behind the Fayre and to all our staff and the PTA for their help.

Lastly, a big shout-out to our amazing Primary 6 & 7 children, who showcased their creativity and entrepreneurial skills by setting up a fantastic array of stalls! This year we had a wide variety - penalty shoot, hit the target, tatoos, nerf guns, golf, nail painting, hair salon, homemade lemonde, wooden crafts.....and much more. We even had 'Splash the teacher/Prinicpal,' which was surprisingly popular!!!! Special shout out to Nathan Hillen (P7) who arranged a special stall with gluten free treats for children who have allergies. He also secured 23 prizes for the raffle by asking for prizes from local businesses.

We are thrilled to announce that we raised an impressive £5,711! What a fantastic achievement, this is our highest amount to date. We really appreciate the kindness and generosity from our families and community. Our first purchase will be a new interactive panel for Mrs Hanna/Nursery (£1,751), there are many other things that we would like to purchase. Our children have also given us a few ideas of what they would like, we will let you know what we spend the money on in future updates.

A percentage donation will also be given to Trocaire.
