30 pupils travelled to Banbridge Rugby Club on Friday morning to take part in the first race of the year.
18 pupils across KS2 took part in the Fun Run where children were asked to run a distance of 1km around the hilly route.
Congratulations to Daire O'Hare who was our first boy home in a time of 4 mins and 32 secs. Our first girl home was Katie-Rose McNeill in 5 mins and 52 secs.
When the fun run was completed it was time for the team race on the same track, covering the same distance.
Finbarr and Conleth couldn't be separated and came home first for our school in 4 min 11 secs. Tierna was our highest finisher on the day coming in 6th overall in 4 mins and 31 secs.
A big congratulations to every single pupil for pushing themselves and most importantly have fun. You were all a credit to our school.
