ASPIRE- Wednesday 22nd April
Today we had the most wonderful nursery trip to visit our friends at Fairhill Nursery, and what an adventure it was from start to finish!
We set off from Annaclone on a big bus, which was very exciting for everyone-especially as it was the first ever bus journey for some of the boys and girls. As we travelled through the beautiful countryside, we went up and down hills, taking in all the lovely views along the way.
The children were thrilled to spot lots of animals during our journey, including baby lambs, horses, cows, and even two donkeys running around someone's garden! We even passed some houses that we recognised, which made it all the more exciting. The bus was filled with chatter, laughter, and lots of happy faces.
After our journey, we arrived in Kinallen where our big bus pulled up outside Fairhill Nursery. Our friends from Fairhill were there to greet us warmly and welcome us inside.
Then came a very special surprise-guess who was there? Mr Hullabaloo himself!
He put on a fantastic show for us, full of fun, laughter, and imagination. He introduced us to his friend Jingle the Jester, as well as some of his animal friends. We listened to the story of the Three Little Pigs and heard all about a giant who lived on a cloud in the sky-we even had to imagine climbing a beanstalk to reach his castle! We sang along to nursery rhymes and had such a fun time before it was time to say goodbye to Mr Hullabaloo.
Next, we explored Fairhill's nursery, and their outdoor area was absolutely amazing.
There was a big sandpit where the children could dig and play, and a little outdoor kitchen where we had great fun making "daffodil soup"! There were also two climbing frames for the children to enjoy, along with lots of new and exciting toys to explore. The children had so much fun playing together, sharing, and trying new things.
After all that excitement, we headed back inside where we sat together and enjoyed our lunch-it felt just like a cosy indoor picnic. It was lovely to see everyone chatting and relaxing together after such a busy morning.
All too soon, it was time to say our goodbyes. We thanked our friends at Fairhill Nursery for such a special day before hopping back on the bus for our journey home.
We had an absolutely fantastic day, full of fun, friendship, and new experiences. The children made wonderful memories, and we are already looking forward to seeing our friends again soon!
