P4 explore how to use their ‘Power For Good’ this week during Anti-Bullying Week.
To mark Anti-bullying Week P4 talked about what bullying is and the impact it has on people. We learnt what a ‘bystander’ is and brain stormed how we can all be up-standers instead. They very maturely talked about the ways different people could be upstanders and how we all have powers we use in the choices we make. They knew how to keep themselves safe whilst helping others in need by choosing very responsible actions.
We discussed scenarios and the pupils brainstormed how they could use their power for good to help. We then dramatised the scenarios I gave them and they showed us how some people could help and support others. We finished the week by designing our own ‘Power For Good’ posters with some great messages. We are continuing our theme into next week thinking about how tiny actions can make a big difference to everyone daily. Well done P4.
