Primary 5 took part in a carousel activity to explore the features and purpose of different adverts. Working in small groups, they analysed a range of adverts, identifying techniques such as alliteration, exaggeration, slogans and rhetorical questions. They discussed how these features are used to persuade the reader and recorded examples from each advert.
