Hot Chocolate Friday

13th Sep 2019

Hot Chocolate Friday is a pupil well-being drive that we will be pioneering this year as a way of recognising pupils who have gone ‘Over and Above’. Learners are at the heart of everything we do and positive recognition lets pupils know that their hard work and contributions to school life are valued by the team here at St. Colman's.

In a Principal's busy week, Hot Chocolate Friday is a quick and effective way to acknowledge a pupil’s actions and praise them. One to one contact allows the student and teacher to build their relationship and discuss all the reasons why they were the rewarded student that week. We have a big push on-going in the school to 'Grow Kindness' and all the children photographed here today have made significant donations to our school library appeal. Sipping on a nice mug of hot chocolate makes this experience more enjoyable and what more could a student want at the end of the week?

Well done to all...I wonder who will be joining me in October?
