Over these past weeks so much hidden learning has been happening in Primary Three. Hidden learning is work that has not been set by the teacher. It is incidental learning! Primary Threes have been busy baking. This requires numeracy skills for weighing and measuring. In Science and Technology I have seen a mobile phone cover made from a balloon! You have also been busy sorting animals into categories for the No Balmoral Show. In science you have sorted plants into wildflowers and trees and some of you have been busy planting vegetables and know that they need sunlight and water to survive. In PDMU I have seen rainbows made for the NHS, Stay at Home Superhero posters and cards for the carehome residents. These show how caring and thoughtful you are. Well done Primary Three!
