Crazy Hair for Children in Need

15th Nov 2019

Today in school we held a Crazy Hair day to raise money and awareness for Children In Need. Children and staff alike came together to raise money for a worthwhile cause. Many chose to wear wigs, some randomly gelled their hair in a crazy-Mohican styles, others added bizarre accessories and plenty added a dash of colour with washable sprays! The money raised from the children will help to buy materials for play therapy sessions that offer young children with cancer a chance to express their feelings and emotions.

A very special mention goes out to Callum (P2) and Chloe (P4). It was their wonderful letter back in September that got the ball rolling and the impact of their charitable work was today enjoyed by ALL the children in school and in the longer term will be greatly received by those children in the country that most need it. Well done and thank you for making a difference to the lives of others.
