Amid the Carol Service rehearsals, Primary One are still finding the time to add “playfulness” to their day and foster their hungry minds. They are busy elves in Santa’s workshop, wrapping and labelling presents to be loaded for the sleigh. Others act the story of the Nativity using costumes and props and straw everywhere! Some choose to consolidate their Literacy and Numeracy by making the letter ‘n’ with nests or create repeating patterns with the coloured penguins and ice-bergs. What a surprise it was when Colin the postman arrived during Literacy to collect the large envelope of our special letters to send direct to Lapland to Santa!
